Regalo Central was founded in 2007 by an enterprising Filipina.  In 2010, this novel business was turned over to EDWARD MICHAEL MIRANDA CRUZ, a native of the Philippines.

 

Michael grew up in Kalookan City, Philippines.  He got his education in the following institutions:  Notre Dame, Don Bosco Juniorate and San Beda College.  His family owns Edward Marcs Philippines, Inc. (EMPI), founded in 1984.  This is where he learned his business sense working his way up the ranks, gaining the highest position of Marketing and Sales Manager.  EMPI is involved with trading electro-mechanical equipment and renewable energy (solar panels).

 

Michael managed another family-owned business, a water refilling station; and personally owned a cyber café for a couple of years.  Michael had a brief stint for a Starbucks branch in the Philippines as an Assistant Store Manager.

 

Michael has been based in New York since 2007, with his wife, Ma. Michelle Quimosing-Cruz, a medical doctor and a physical therapist; and their two lovely daughters.

After almost a month of negotiation, I have been trusted with this novel business.  Rest assured that I will stay true to the PADALA-PABILI-PATAKBO concepts of Regalo Central.  Within the past month, I have come up with more exciting changes for this online shop.  Please check our website for these changes to take effect.
 
I will continue to serve the gift-giving and document assistance needs of the Filipinos and other nationalities with Filipino heritage and affiliations primarily based in the Philippines and the United States.  I will attempt to provide the same service to this special group of thoughtful people wherever they are based in the world.

Now, your overseas-based loved ones can use our Pabili Personal Gift Shopping service to send you gifts.  We offer FREE delivery within Metro Manila and certain areas of Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite and Laguna (with some restrictions and limitations).

Through the Padala  service, we address the need of Philippine-based customers to send gifts to family and friends in the US and Canada to express appreciation or to celebrate important occasions and milestones, but have always considered the cost to be too expensive.   With our Regalo Central Gift Store items, gift-giving does not only go one way. 

 

Through the Patakbo service, we provide a new and innovative solution for the clients’ document needs.

Our target market is the ever-growing number of overseas Filipinos and other nationalities with Filipino heritage or affiliations.  Our focus is on the overseas Filipino worker population who have families, relatives and friends in the Philippines that they regularly communicate with and send gifts to during special occasions.

 

We also want to make it affordable and convenient for customers in the Philippines to purchase gifts for their family and friends in the US and Canada.   

 

With the Gift Registry feature, we’d like to bridge to gap and make gift-buying for special occasions like weddings and birthdays more convenient.   Philippine-based brides and grooms can list their desired items on our site, and their US-based friends and relatives can use our Pabili service to send them gifts. 

 

With the Client Profile information, we will send regular alerts and reminders to customers regarding upcoming special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, Fathers’/Mothers’ Day, graduation, etc.) to help them stay in touch with their families during these special events.

 

With the Patakbo service, we will assist US-based professionals with their document requirements for state licensures, job applications and wedding/marriage requirements.

  • Pabili We offer Metro Manila-based personal shopping services to overseas Filipinos to help them find and buy the gifts that their relatives and friends in the Philippines would appreciate and enjoy.   We will then coordinate delivery of these gifts to their loved-ones

  •   Padala We want to provide an opportunity for the gift-giving to go both ways.  Thus, we offer choice gift items for Philippine-based customers to purchase on our website with convenient, local payment options.  We will then ship their gifts to their family and friends in the US.  These items will already be stocked in the US office, to facilitate cheaper shipping costs. 

  • Patakbo We will assist clients in procuring public and/or legal documents in the Philippines and facilitate delivery of said documents to the clients. Examples of these are school Transcripts of Records, professional licenses, birth, marriage and baptismal certificates. ** (As allowed by institutions’ guidelines regarding transactions by/with authorized representatives)

Congratulations Tereng! What if I'm too tamad to go out and buy/deliver gift to someone in QC... can I use your "Pabili" services as well?! or even "Patakbo".... Hehehehe!
